Located in Jefferson's Historic
District, Falling Leaves
is a gracious antebellum Greek Revival
home. Built
in 1855 by John Sabine, it is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places, and is a recorded Texas
Historical
Landmark. Lisa and Michael Barry invite
their guests to enjoy the inn's 12'8"
ceilings, a gasolier
converted to electricity, lovely period antiques, a screened
porch with antique wicker, and afternoon refreshments
served
in a casual, relaxing atmosphere. A stroll about the
property will
reveal a huge magnolia tree planted by the
original owners, a crepe myrtle which was planted about
1875, pecan trees which are a century old, and something
blooming in most
seasons!
Guests
at Falling Leaves are treated to a full breakfast
in the formal dining room, with a menu that varies daily.
Enjoy true Southern hospitality and
forget your diet
for a day or two. Falling Leaves Bed and
Breakfast Inn
is truly the place to be pampered!
Falling
Leaves offers overnight accommodations
August through May, on Friday and Saturday nights.
During June and July, accommodations are offered 7 nights a
week.
